So what else is in the cab? To the left of the front windscreen there is a "Loudaphone" box (an intercom straight out of the post war period), tinted sun visor and adorning the wall are signs, painted in black, proclaiming "60122", "MAX SPEED 75 M.P.H" and "TEST THE BRAKE".
To your right is the head-code box and further over is hand brake wheel, the 2nd mans tip-up seat attached to the emergency exit door. And there is a big equipment cupboard on the right hand bulkhead wall. Above and below this are other equipment spaces with covers fixed by screws.

These spaces contain the heart of the 90 volt electrical control system and is full of switches, relays, contactors, fuses, circuit breakers, ammeter, shunt and terminals and is a bit scary. There is a small warning plate but your sense of survival should say don´t touch! There is a short wooden stick stored here that, those in the know, use to push relays when trouble shooting. The more deadly high voltage and current traction control is slung in cabinets on the under frame.

On the side of this cupboard, next to the sliding door are the "All Engine" Start and Stop buttons in a small recess.
