The Southern Email Group
- a group Enthusiasts, Historians and Modellers of the Southern Railway, including its predecessors and successors, corresponding over the Internet. The group have also built up a comprehensive website full of information and photographs about anything to do with the Southern Railway, its predecessors and successors, including Hampshire and Sussex DEMUs.

The Southern Electric Group
- a group for those with an interest in electric trains (past and present) running on Southern lines. This group is also involved in the preservation of the only surviving 4-COR main line electric multiple unit.

- The new home of H&SUPS DBMS in Sussex.

Swanage Railway
- the most intensively worked preserved railway in the UK. Runs trains between Swanage and Norden in Dorset.
